Acupuncture and Body Work
Alleviate stress and pain by reconnecting with your physical body.
What is Acupuncture and Body Work?
Acupuncture is a form of medicine from East Asia that dates back over 3000 years. This comprehensive philosophy on medicine understands that pain and disease are signs that the normal flow of Qi (energy/vitality) has been blocked. Using very small, hair-thin needles inserted into various points on the body, acupuncture helps re-balance and heal the body by smoothing and revitalizing the flow of Qi.
Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation are non-invasive types of body work that use light touch to release the fascia of the body. Freeing the fascia of the cranium and abdomen will assist the body in regaining normal function. Craniosacral and Visceral is founded in the belief that the body knows exactly how to heal itself. The role of the practitioner is to facilitating the healing process. These whole person therapies treat physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
